At Home Workouts vs. Going to the Gym
First things first, you need to decide whether your fitness journey will be more successful at a gym or from the comfort of your own home!
Going to the Gym: If you prefer the energy of a class setting or the guidance of a personal trainer, it’s important to find a local gym that offers the programs you’re interested in. Look for a gym that provides the classes and training options you enjoy, at times that fit your schedule. You might also consider inviting a friend or partner to join you—working out together can be a great motivator. Whatever you choose, focus on what will keep you inspired and committed to reaching your fitness goals!
Working Out at Home: If heading to the gym feels more like a chore than something you actually want to do, working out at home is an excellent alternative! There are so many benefits to home workouts, which is why I personally love them. For starters, there’s no commute! You can literally roll out of bed, get your workout done, hop in the shower, and start your day. It’s also much more budget-friendly since you don’t have to pay for a membership. Perhaps the best perk of all: you can work out in whatever makes you feel the most comfortable!
My Favorite Workout
My favorite workouts come from the Faster Way to Fat Loss program. A program that I started doing over five years ago. It is the only program that I have ever found that works! I’m able to eat the foods that I love (and more of them) while working out less than I ever had before. It’s truly amazing and something I believe in. One of the most vital components when beginning and continuing your fitness journey are your vitamins and supplements. My Protein Shake Recipe
This is one of my go to protein shake recipes for regular carb days. Throw everything in the blender minus the mini-chocolate chips. After it’s well blended, stir in the mini-chips and enjoy! Recipe below.

Get Healthy | Workout Gear
Working out can be intimidating, but it can also be so much fun! You can start with at-home workouts and once you feel confident doing that, you can workout anywhere! These are the items I use in my at-home gym (with the exception of the foam roller). Each of these pieces of equipment are perfect for an at-home workout! The booty bands, dumbbells and kettlebells come in different colors based upon the weight. I highly recommend starting with those three pieces of equipment if you’re starting out, they target several different parts of the body in different ways!
