Favorite Denim for Petites – Why I love these!
Can we all agree that finding that perfect pair of denim jeans is soooo hard!? Why? Well, the answer is simple – we are all unique!

I found several amazing pairs of jeans with and I will share why I love them and I found several that didn’t work perfectly for me, however, I think they are great and they might work for you!
For reference: I am 5’1″ and I fluctuate between 106 & 110lbs. I only include my weight because I feel it’s an important piece of info to help you.
I am also going to share what sizes I wear in the following brands because sizes vary widely from brand to brand. Reference back to this post in the future when trying to decide which size to get when I share denim.

The goal of this denim search was to find denim with minimal rips and very little to no skin skin showing. And, it was a success!

The Winners
You wouldn’t believe me if you I told you how many pairs of denim I ordered! These are winners! Not all of them worked for me, however, I feel there are pro’s to all of these and they might work for you! As I stated before, we are all unique!
Here they are! I will go over them one-by-one for you and I will let you know which ones I kept, sizing details, and all the important deets! I wore the same white tee similar to this one and my favorite booties (on sale 40% off) with each pair so you can focus on the denim and compare them equally.

1. Mother Tomcat Ripped Crop Jeans (FAVORITES)
Brand: Mother
Size: 24
Runs tts. snug at first, but stretch a little. I ordered the 25 to compare and the 24’s ended up being the better fit. Go with your normal size or size up.
Pro’s: On trend with the looser straight cut, feel amazing, 98% cotton so they won’t stretch out too much, Made in the USA
Cons: Pricey.
Thoughts: Instant love! My favorite jeans of this entire try on! From the moment I tried these on, I fell in love. The feel, cut, color are amazing. High-waisted, but they don’t give you flat booty. These will have a wider leg, but a smaller waist which is perfect if you have larger thighs and a smaller waist.

2. High-Waisted Button-Fly Super Skinny Cut-Off Ankle Jeans
Brand: Old Navy
Size: 0 Petite
Pro’s: High-rise, you don’t have to keep pulling up, feel amazing, the perfect hem for petites, the perfect hem (distressing and length), slimming, Stretchy, but don’t stretch out too much, affordable.
Cons: None
Thoughts: These are perfect in every way for all the reason’s listed above. If you are looking for skinny jeans, grab these!

3. Mid-Rise Button-Fly Super Skinny Cut-Off Ankle Jeans
Brand: Old Navy
Size: 0 Petite
Pro’s: feel amazing, the perfect hem for petites, the perfect hem (distressing and length), slimming, Love the darker color and non-contrasting stitching Stretchy, but don’t stretch out too much, affordable.
Cons: Mid-rise, so I feel they keep riding down compared to a high-rise
Thoughts: Love the look and the feel. I like that they are a little more cropped than the previous pair, but I need to pull-up every so often.

4. Ex-Boyfriend Relaxed Slim Jeans
Brand: AG
Size: 24
Pro’s: Straight cut so a looser relaxed fit, feel amazing with a soft denim feel. Very Comfy
Cons: Pricey
Thoughts: Love the look and the feel. These are more on-trend this season with the straight cut.
Kept or returned: Kept (I purchased these a while back)
5. Luxe Touch Fray Hem Ankle Skinny Jeans
Brand: Wit & Wisdom
Size: 0P
Pro’s: Extremely comfortable! Hidden elastic waistband – genius! The perfect length. Super stretchy, so you feel comfortable all day. Love the distressed hem and slight distressing.
Cons: They stretch out, so size down. I would prefer a 00P, but these start at 0P.
Thoughts: Wit & Wisdom jeans are extremely comfortable! I love all of my Wit & Wisdom denim! Just remember to size down.

6. Frankie Distressed High Waist Crop Slim Straight Leg Jeans
Brand: Vigoss
Size: 25 (these were too big for me, so size down)
Pro’s: High-waisted, not too baggy. Won’t stretch out 99% cotton.
Cons: They are long, so you will need to cuff them. Not really a con, if you like to cuff them like I do, though.
Thoughts: These are great a option if you like non-stretchy denim. These are mostly cotton so they will hold their shape.

Frankie Distressed Crop Slim Straight Jeans
7. Ab-Solution High Waist Raw Hem Skinny Crop Jeans
Brand: Wit & Wisdom
Size: 0P (these were too big for me, so size down)
Pro’s: Extremely Comfortable! These have the amazing hidden elastic band. Great price! These are 40% off at the time of this post!
Cons: None! These are amazing & a great price!
Thoughts: I LOVE these! I wish they had them in my size. I will keep checking back. I am tempted to get the 00 regular and just chop them off. They are that good!

8. Farrah High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans
Brand: AG
Size: 24
Pro’s: Comfortable with just the right amount of stretch. Great price on a great pair of denim! These are 40% off at the time of this post!
Cons: too long for ankle jeans! You would need to get these cropped and that would loose the cute raw edge details
Thoughts: I really these! If you are taller these are a great pair of jeans! Especially at 40% off!

Farrah High-Waisted Skinny Jeans
9. Farrah High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans
Brand: Top Shop
Size: 25P (too small, Needed a 26)
Pro’s: Great Length for petite, love the cut, 99% cotton so they will hold their shape. Lots of room in the thigh area
Cons: These gave me a flat booty. However, these are a great price, length and fit (If you get the right size) and they might work for you!
Thoughts: I like this pair with the exception that made my booty look flat.

10. Super High Waisted Ripped Slim Jeans
Brand: Express
Size: 2 short
Pro’s: great length and roomy thigh area.
Cons: The rise was way too high for me, however, if you are looking for an Super high-rise – these are it!!! These also gave me a flat booty.
Thoughts: Not for me. These took the super high-rise to a whole new level – Almost to my bra band!
